We only discovered Kiwitaxi a day before we were due to leave our hotel in Luxor for the airport. We didn't want to pay the hotel's elevated rates for transfer, or get into endless haggling with the taxi drivers outside. They confirmed the transfer a short while later. At 7am next morning our driver Hussein was waiting for us outside the hotel with a big sign with our name.
